Mountain Vista Apartment 1A - Undercover Carpark!

Good Positive: Clean accomodation with all necessary amenities, ~15 minute walk to the centre of Queenstown. Car park was handy and there were nice views of the mountains and gondola in the distance. Negative: Poor ventilation - next door’s weed could be smelt all through the first two floors of the apartment for most of the stay. There are several flights of stairs both to the apartment and inside the apartment (it’s 3 storey). Also didn’t appreciate being asked to empty all bins on check out when no housekeeping was provided during a 6 night stay.

The view and the quality of the apartment made climbing the steps worthwhile. Positive: Excellent location with a nearby supermarket, and less than a 1km walk to the CBD. Well equipped and comfortable apartment with a lovely view. Negative: The only signage on the outside of the building is unrelated to the advertised name Peak View. Apartments. There were about 40 steps between street level and the bottom (bedroom ) floor of our apartment, and an internal staircase to get from there up to the kitchen/living area. No lift, so not suitable for anyone with fitness or mobility issues.

A comfortable, well-equipped home with excellent value for money, especially if you’re travelling by car. Positive: The house is very well laid out, comfortable, and very well equipped. The kitchen utensils, bathrooms, and amenities were all well provided for, and we didn’t feel like anything was missing during our stay. For those travelling by car, like us, the included parking is a great advantage. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with excellent value for money. Highly recommended! Negative: The only thing that could be improved is the heating, as it wasn’t able to warm the entire house sufficiently. The bed heaters were also not working. However, there were plenty of blankets and duvets, which kept us warm and comfortable during the night.
